The CEO of Shard Corporation, Lord Shard, is also a renowned prosecutor, as has been his family's tradition for generations. But after a mysterious incident atop the Shard Corporation building, a cloud of secrets hanging over the past of the Shard family was revealed. Lord Shard's son, Damion, was forever changed by that incident. Soon, Damion decided to become a defense attorney, a decision that astonished his family.
