Combat involves firearms, stealth, and melee weapons, while semi-open hub areas offer challenge tombs with puzzles, side missions, and resource scavenging for crafting. Players earn experience and unlock skills across three trees focused on combat, hunting, and survival. The game features an Expeditions mode that allows replaying levels with modifiers in place of traditional multiplayer.
